@saffierah.tasniem: Children, no doubt, are a blessing of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى). From the moment a baby is conceived, we start planning for their future, and the joy that comes with their arrival knows no bounds. The love we have for our child in our hearts is so natural and comes with no strings attached. But we must remember that children are an amanah (trust) from Allah (سبحانه وتعالى), and therefore, we have certain duties and responsibilities towards them and towards Allah (سبحانه وتعالى), for He is the One who blessed us with them in the first place. Allah mentions wealth and children together many times in the Quran. Both wealth and children are a test for us, to see how we deal with this blessing. Allah tests some people with wealth, and some without wealth. Similarly, Allah tests some people with children, and some without. We should always keep ourselves in check to ensure that neither of these takes us farther from our Deen. Therefore, it is our duty as believers to raise our children in a way that pleases Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).
