The baby showed me a different kind of love. You mean survival? A baby is programmed to love you for survival not out of want but need. ALOT of these young mothers from broken homes think unconditional love it’s not tho it’s survival

All of this may be happening because of stress. Having a newborn baby can put a mother under a lot of pressure, and she may turn to alcohol as a way of coping with the stress. She needs understanding, emotional support, and proper care rather than being judged.
