Over the past few months I’ve been experimenting with a bunch of things to see if I could grow my arms longer after having received a few anecdotals from some of my clients having noticed their arms getting longer. At first I thought it was merely about inaccurate measurement, improvements in scapular/shoulder blade mechanics or rib flares, all of which can transiently “lengthen” the arms without necessarily lengthening the bones. But I had some faith in the idea, that with open bone plates, the periodisation of rapid shifts of tensile and compressive forces could directly recreate the same kind of outcomes I strive with vertebral and intervertebral expansion given the premises of open bone plates. I haven’t been able to confirm fully that’s the case, but from a plausibility standpoint, it is less probable to sssume that some of these outcomes could be a byproduct of just optimised biomechanics than to assume that it could be that plus some mechanotrasductive adaptation(some sort of bone growth) I am not entirely sure what’s the answer yet, but either way these are fantastic news, as they tell me 2 things: First and most importantly, that the likelihood of me having closed bone plates are a lot less likely than what I thought(still pretty low odds, but I can convince myself 10 times harder with this bits of evidence) and secondly, that if any of this stuff has any truth, even if the relevant extrapolated results were a quarter or a even just a fifth of what I’m seeing here, then perhaps, jsut like I theorised many months ago, the applications for my osteochondrial oscillation model could go far beyond just altering intradischial biology and the subsequent semi- permanent retain of some additional upper body longitudinal lenght.
