I have been served rice pudding in different places I have stayed in Cuba and for some reason it tastes so much better than here lol. Typically Southeast Asian dish that is served is Mango sticky rice made with fresh mango, rice and coconut milk...different version maybe but flavours would be a nice treat 😋

I think it’s technically a sweet treat but we need something similar in the USA were used usually leftover rice so it’s already cooked. You soften it up and then you add milk, cinnamon, and sugar its like a sweet rice cereal

Have you had mango sticky rice? Idk if mangos grow there naturally maybe you could find some :) usually uses coconut milk (like in the can) but I’ve seen it made with condensed milk

In Norway they have a similar dish called Risen Grøt, topped with cinnamon too! They leave it out for Santa 🎅 too! 🥰

I’ve had many different rice puddings over the years,but about 12ish years ago we were in Cuba and went on a tour to a very small village. I had the best rice pudding there. It was so good. I tried to make it from a recipe I found on Pinterest,it was good but not nearly as good as what I had in your country
