Somehow my sweet little girl is officially a TEENAGER… and because apparently turning 13 wasn’t enough of a milestone, she decided to celebrate by running a HALF MARATHON today. 😂🏃‍♀️ This past year has been a BIG one for you. It has been a year of growing, learning, healing, and finding your way back to yourself after a really hard battle with your body. There have been hard days, scary days, and days when progress probably didn’t feel like progress at all. But watching you fight your way through it, accept help, and learn to take care of yourself has made me prouder than I could ever put into words…watching you cross that finish line on your 13th birthday felt like so much more than finishing a race. It felt like celebrating how far you’ve come. ❤️ Not because of a number on a clock or what your body can do, but because you’re learning that your body is something to care for, fuel, and be grateful to God for. Grayson, you are strong, determined, kind, hilarious, and so much more capable than you realize. I pray that as you enter this new chapter, you always remember who you are, whose you are, and that God has a purpose for every step you take (even the really hard ones). Keep chasing big dreams.
