friendly reminder that goat rock beach on the right side of goat rock has an undertoe and is NOT SAFE to go in the water!! if u want to play in the waves stay on the left side of the rock on blind beach where there is not undertoe

Have you hit up Schoolhouse Beach? It’s not far, south of Goat Rock. It’s all polished rock. It’s my favorite. You can bury yourself in rock. My favorite!

That is the best beach in all of California. I go about every 2 months. I love it. But people should know it is two different beaches. Both at Goat Rock California State Park or something, but the lower road goes to Blind Beachgoes to both of them really the parking lot is in the middle of both beaches so anyway, I’m rambling blind beaches to the left goat rock beach is to the right.

Just a few hundred yards south (between GRB and Shell Beach are outcrops on the marine terrace that have mammoth-smoothed spots. They rubbed their backs and other parts repeatedly over years and smoothed the rocks.
