It may have a little more cost upfront... but you're also eating much healthier... you're bypassing all of the deadly chemicals that are added to the meat in the grocery store!!!

Do yall eat poultry? If so, how? We do a lot of wild hog and deer, but I do love chicken. However, the chicken at the store has been making me sick the last few months.

we raise quail for our meat, honestly i feel it is cheaper then rabbit to raise, i do not sell day old chicks but sell 4 to 6 week olds for 8 to 15 a bird

so all of that's well and good and better for you and cheaper What She's forgetting to tell you is it's not for everybody we live in a world of conveniences it's hard work to farm pigs cows hunting the deer is probably the easy part then you have to have it processed rabbits I don't know chickens it's a good thing but it's a lot of hard work but it worked for a thousand years and especially the last few hundred years that's what people did they didn't have a choice there was no such thing as grocery stores or electricity or ice I'm just saying

That’s great so you’re totally self-sufficient that’s wonderful. I’m old. I’m like 79 and go blind but I just wanted to well I’m not really ask. I guess just comment you all. Do you only keep heads of the ones you used that year or do you put all of their heads on your wall? I’m a city girl. I don’t know why I’m asking. I was just curious cause if you go through like a couple of those a year end up with an awful lot of deer head don’t you like I said I’m 79 and go blind. I’m an old lady. Don’t take anything to heart. OK I wish I could live the way you live.
