Place a steamer basket in a large stockpot and fill with about 1.5-2 inches of water (make sure the water isn’t getting into the steamer basket) and bring to a boil. 3. Add lobster tails once the water is boiling. Cover and cook until the shells turn red and the meat is opaque. A good rule of thumb is about 1 min per oz of lobster! How to bake: 1.
