@onenation_media: A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck offshore near Hermosa Beach at approximately 8:40 a.m. Sunday morning, according to updated USGS information. Early readings briefly showed the quake as a 3.6 before it was revised. The quake was centered roughly 6 km west-southwest of Hermosa Beach at a depth of about 7.4 miles. Residents reported feeling a quick jolt across parts of the South Bay and Los Angeles area, including Redondo Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, Santa Monica and Marina del Rey.
