hii!! i’m thinking of writing mine on the toggle language button on the apple keyboard, and how ever since i’ve gotten my phone i’ve felt conflicted by constantly delating and redownloading korean, because all my life ive felt i’ve never “felt korean enough”, and by delating it off my keyboard i’m delating it out of my life. can you please tell me how to expand this idea and make it more personal to me? i would really appreciate it!! 💕

I was thinking of writing about mental health but specifically how in my culture is look down upon to get help or seek help or people will think you have demons inside of you . And I was gonna tie it to why I want to study psychology and how it connects to my life. And a personal experience I was gonna add was a time I felt ashamed to reach out for help when my childhood friend died

I keep getting mixed thoughts on if mine is too controversial… its basically about Kanye West and how he’s rly misunderstood and i feel the same way. I wrote an essay that I genuinely think represents me but it references my activities list and is about how I gained the confidence to do new things. I compared the process of getting an ear piercing to my hs experience. There’s also a cultural aspect bc I got the piercing to wear a certain piece of jewelry.

I have to submit my first app in two weeks but I’m kind of having second thoughts about my topic. I am writing about how depression (from my mom, sister, then myself) has shaped my life and led me to want to study psychology and become a psychiatrist.
