@quickmechtools: I recently broke one of my small cast 90-degree clamps in my workshop, so I decided to try these stainless steel clamps. The fence on these clamps is almost an inch in height compared to the 3/8" fence on my cast clamps. This only holds the stock about 2.75" from the corner compared to the 3.25" of my cast clamps. I use corner clamps as a third hand on the bottom edge of the corner, and I use my 4" or 8" positioning squares on the top corner to better ensure a square corner. I gave this product a five-star review considering the cost, quality, product design, materials and design, as well as the squareness of the corners for this class of clamp. I am not comparing this product against plastic spring-loaded corner clamps or the much larger, heavier-duty corner clamps.
