That is one thing our mom and us girls NEVER did - interfere when our dad was/is correcting our younger brother. The minute our dad said, “AHT! Let him do it.” that was a wrap! We could continue to verbally/visually teach him how to do it but we BETTER NOT had done it for him! Mind you - he’s autistic and that’s a major reason he’s as independent as he is today. Our dad still raised him to be a man even with his limitations. FATHERS BELONG IN THE HOME!!! 💯

I love my mom to the end of the Earth but my dad was just like this. If you truly needed help, he would help you but he also knew that valuable lessons and learning how to do things on your own, were needed. I absolutely love this video. So much better than seeing parents holler and cuss out their kids thinking they're getting their point across. All they're doing is damaging their self-esteem.
