@laurenvacula: caramel apples but make them good for you 👻🍎 these vegan caramel apples look so impressive but are actually so simple to make - and the caramel is made entirely from dates so it is whole food plant based and actually good for you! it’s such a good healthy vegan Halloween recipe!! VEGAN CARAMEL SAUCE: 20 Medjool dates, pitted 3 tbsp almond milk (can sub oat or coconut milk) 1/4 cup coconut oil (slightly soft or melted) 2 tbsp cashew butter blend everything together until completely smooth and creamy - that’s your caramel! VEGAN CARAMEL APPLES 1/2 batch vegan caramel sauce 4 apples (Gala or Honeycrisp work best) 1 cup vegan chocolate any toppings you love stick a chopstick into the slim side of each apple and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. spread a thin layer of caramel sauce onto each apple with a butter knife, then place upright on the baking sheet and into the fridge to firm up. melt your vegan chocolate using a double boiler over medium heat, stirring constantly. remove apples from the fridge and drizzle chocolate over with a fork - or dunk them straight in. place back in the fridge until firm. and that’s it! one of my favorite vegan recipes for fall and honestly one of the most fun viral Halloween ideas to make with people you love 🍂 would you try these? 🍎👻 #veganrecipes #veganhalloween #wholefoodplantbased #cookingtutorial #halloweenrecipes
