@bananzc: Multnomah Falls is worth the visit in September. My husband and I checked it out recently on a Sunday around 7:30 AM to avoid the crowds. It was worth getting up early - it started filling up with people around 8 AM. I saw it for the third time this year in April. I finally hiked to the top! There are actually like 4 or 5 pretty amazing waterfalls at the top.
