every morning I wake up at 7:00 eat breakfast and drink a cup of coffee then I walk to work because it is close to my home one morning I noticed something strange a small black bag was lying on the sidewalk nobody was near it so I picked it up and looked around to see if there was anything that could help me find the owner inside there was a notebook a wallet and several old photographs none of them had a phone number but they seemed important instead of taking it back to the police immediately I searched online for the name I found inside the notebook surprise curiosity quickly evolved into determination as I realized the contents of the back represented four more than the forgotten belongings they revealed fragments of a person's identity illustrating how memories achievements and personal history can survive long after public recognition has faded fascinated me most was not immediately logical question
