@ministryofmending: Chunky Knit Repair with our Speedarner Loom The eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted that I almost never repair chunky knitwear, not because it's tricky but because I don't own any, with the exception of this jumper and one other. I just hate feeling too hot 🥵 😂 and the Cornish climate is way kinder temp wise than say the Scottish isles, so they aren't really a wardrobe essential around these parts. Dan bought me this one for my 34th or 35th birthday (I can't quite remember exactly)...hand-knitted by a local lady using some yarn in my favourite colour 💜 When I washed it last month I noticed this smallish hole and was kinda excited in a way, as I knew it was the perfect opportunity to show you how to use our Speedarner mending loom to repair these sorts of thicker knitted garments. With one simple trick you can switch up the 'looseness' (erm, not sure that's a word 🤔 but you get me) of your woven patch and create a darn with much thicker yarns. Just warp up every other hook!
