@starry_loiss: THIRD QUARTER ROUTE MARCH | A MEMORY I’LL KEEP 🤍⚓️ On Saturday, 26th September, the Nigerian Navy conducted its Third Quarter Route March in Abuja, bringing together personnel from various units across the Federal Capital Territory. For me, this was more than just another route march. It was my third and last Route March as a Corps Member serving with the Nigerian Navy, and honestly, I’m grateful I got to experience it. Looking back, I’m reminded of how much this journey has given me. From my first Route March to this one, I’ve had the opportunity to witness the discipline, teamwork, unity, and sense of togetherness that comes with having personnel from different units come together for one purpose. And Route March? Definitely one of the activities I’ve grown to love. 😂❤️ There’s just something about the energy, the early morning movement, the discipline, the shared laughter, the encouragement, and most importantly, seeing coursemates, colleagues, and fellow Corps Members from different units coming together. It creates a beautiful sense of community and reminds you that, beyond our different units and responsibilities, we are all moving forward together. Now I understand even more why the Nigerian Navy says: “ONWARD TOGETHER.” ⚓️🇳🇬 Whoever came up with the idea of having quarterly Route Marches across Naval units deserves serious recognition because, beyond the physical fitness and operational readiness it promotes, it creates room for unity, camaraderie, and shared experiences. I’m genuinely going to miss this activity and so many other experiences that have come with serving here. This journey has shaped me in more ways than I can fully put into words. It has challenged me, taught me, exposed me to new experiences, and sharpened me both personally and professionally. And as I prepare to round off this chapter, I’m simply grateful. My third Route March. My last one as a Corps Member. One more beautiful memory added to the journey⚓️ Here’s to the experiences, the people, the lessons, and the memories.
