This unfortunately is not the whole truth, tipping originated after slaves were emancipated because service owners DID NOT WANT TO PAY BLACK PEOPLE for their labor, sounds familiar 🤔🤔? So, freed Blacks had to HOPE FOR SOMEONE to be generous and tip them. So, yeah everything is about race. Businesses should pay their employees a living wage and benefits, slavery has its oppressive tentacles in every facet of America.
