I’m for them as long as you pay them in full every month. Credit card debt is a hard no because your investments can’t out earn 25-30% interest. Also, if you need cash, don’t use a credit card for that. Use a debit card at your bank for anything where you actually need cash. Cash advances charge high fees, and there’s no grace period, so interest starts accruing the moment you take the cash.

I agree with you, however, studies have shown time and time again that people spend 12% more on the conservative side (up to 18%) when using a credit card, compared to debit or cash.
