hair shedding is soooo hard, but here’s everything I did while going through it: • got bloodwork done and addressed my low ferritin and vitamin D • oiled my scalp once a week • used scalp serums every night • stopped wearing tight slick-backs and kept my hairstyles loose • was extra gentle with brushing and detangling • slept with a loose braid and a silk pillowcase • limited heat styling • gave it time, even though that was the hardest part my shedding lasted from may until early august, and seeing little baby hairs coming in has been so reassuring. this is what my routine looked like, but I can’t credit one product with stopping the shedding. finding out what’s causing yours is so important if you’re going through this, you’re not alone.
