@contentcreationsbyshelly: Okay, Powdersville, South Carolina, there’s a new antique market called The Thrifty Pig inside Saluda River Archery, so Ashley and I went to check it out. We were greeted by the sweetest dog, who was much more interested in getting pets than letting us shop. I came because I’d seen a picnic basket in one of their posts and wanted one for a photo shoot. Then I got inside and realized choosing just one might be a problem. There were baskets everywhere, along with vintage clothes, jewelry, cookbooks, kitchen finds, picture frames, Halloween decorations, and little collectibles that took me right back to my grandparents’ house. I loved the geese and duck pieces, and we even found a rocking horse that I had to stop and watch. You really have to take your time here. Ashley and I kept circling back and finding things we’d missed. I did leave with a picnic basket, plus some beer coasters from Germany that my husband wanted me to grab for our friend. If you love vintage shopping or need something unique for a photo shoot, go see what you can find at The Thrifty Pig. Which treasure would you have picked? Powdersville has a new spot for antique shopping, and Ashley and I went in with one mission: find me a picnic basket. 🧺 The Thrifty Pig Antique Market is inside Saluda River Archery, and there was so much more to look through than I expected. Vintage clothes, jewelry, cookbooks, kitchen pieces, Halloween decor, baskets, and little finds that brought back childhood memories.
