Professional Detailer here. DO NOT clay rag a dirty bug covered car. A clay rag just removes micro particles not bug guts and dirt. You will just ruin your towel and screw your paint up. And then you will have to pay someone like me a lot to fix it…..

the 2nd photo looks like it was slightly edited to make it look more glossy, the lighting difference between the 1st and 2nd photo gives it away. On top of that the way you guys are advertising these towels makes it look like you wash the dirt and grime off with the clay towel which will only scratch the hell out of your paint and the average person does not know this. You ALWAYS wash your car first before you ever touch a clay towel or clay bar to your paint.

PS hosing it down doesn’t get rid of the contaminants embedded in the “clay”. Do not use these multiple times. 2-3x you can probably get away with at your own risk.
