manager definitely wrong. all she had to do was acknowledge that a mistake was made and apologize. not all managers at cracker barrel are like this. I hope u give them or another cracker barrel a chance. if ur ever in Louisiana come by n let ,e take care of u n ur child.

This happened to me at IHOP I took my baby to restroom to change diaper, I left the car seat at table. When we got back our table was clean. They apologized and remade our food. They were really nice

I work at cb and I get it. But the whole point of the store is to go around and look and shop so if your waiting for food id get up and go shop too they should have just got you back to your table made new drinks and said sorry and that should have been that that’s wild that they kept arguing w you

As a former busser who accidentally bussed a table who actually were outside smoking we remade their food. That's what should be done. I started making sure people were actually done.

Definitely not dramatic at all. You were very understanding that it was just an accident from the staff and you weren’t even mad you didn’t even ask for a manager in the first place. She came over there with the intention to be argumentative.

As a server, if your stuff (purse, bag, etc.) is still at your table and you haven’t received your food yet, I’d be pissed at my busser. You couldn’t look at the table and use context clues before you cleaned it??

at the end of the day they are at thoughts because if your stuff was still on the table, and if they knew that you just had gotten there and you have not even been served, the servers should’ve been able to see that and they shouldn’t even touch anything. If your stuff was still there. Then the manager when she came in and the picture she should’ve had said. I am so sorry. I apologize. I will give you refills for whatever it was thrown away and continue the day. But yeah, that was very unprofessional. From their end. Sorry you went

You are in the wrong. You don't get up from your table until you are completely finished with your meal and your stay. You cannot expect the wait staff or bussers to know what you're thinking and doing.
