Go look up season 20 episode 1 of Take Down with Chris Hansen and try to tell me he’s not doing gods work. If you can honestly talk bad about him after that you’re a horrible person. No if ands or butts. I genuinely don’t care about your nuance, or whatever context you wanna spin or conversation you wanna have. Actually watch Chris Hansen investigations. Idc who he is as a person. Because even if he’s obsessed with himself his job is important, and needs to be done. Because of him collaborating with police departments he’s created a movement and divisions dedicated to not only putting bad people away, but because he’s a journalist he’s allowed to talk to these criminals and get their admission with their crimes, and the departments have clear evidence that can’t be coincidence enticing or entrapment.

This doesn’t make sense though cause it’s clearly shown that Chris Hansen in the movie follows his philosophy of getting rid of pedophiles people don’t see when he talks about the india story. Chris Hansen’s tears aren’t selfish and he clearly believes in his own philosophy at least that’s whats shown in the movie even at the end. But apparently he supposedly only cares about the ratings which doesn’t make sense considering him genuinely believing in his philosophy.

I think people also miss that the pedo *only* turning the gun in himself was just luck. He just as easily could have started a gunfight choosing suicide by cop instead of directly, and frankly I’d be surprised if Chris Hansen could still show his face if he got a cop killed in the name of reality TV
