This found me after a long shift so hit me so emotionally but oh my goodness this is brilliant. Asterion longing for the sea, something so significant to Greek, and especially Minoan, culture. I cannot stand the story of the Minotaur, it makes me so unbearably sad, the thought of that little boy, left in the dark, alone, is so devastating to me. Like I know it’s not real but it also is. This was beautiful and also gut wrenching.
