I'm starting to think a large portion of GenX is on the spectrum in some way...I am soooo picky. Occasionally I will try new things, sometimes I like them, but they rarely make it to permanent rotation.

it might be a gen x thing i am the same way. when I was a kid we ate simple fast stuff to get back outside or what was in reach because we made our own meals most of the time. I hate trying knew stuff.

I have so many food sensory issues that I'm positive I have ARFID. I've literally said I have the palate of a 6 year old, but I know 6 year olds that eat better than me. It is a major struggle, especially when eating around new people or people who are unfamiliar with my sensory issues

I was dating a man that could have been the one but he was the pickiest eater. Our friend opened a fabulous restaurant with amazing entrees. He wouldn't eat there because they had nothing plain. Go on vacation and he wants McDonalds instead of a local five star. Nope.

You are my people! I’m 60 years old, and I had a peanut butter sandwich for dinner. Didn’t want to cook and just needed to eat something. And I hate going to a restaurant that won’t let me order from the kids menu. I’m such a non-foodie, not only am I super picky, but I also cannot eat very much now. A chicken finger and a few fries and I feel like I can’t eat anything more! Why don’t they understand it’s just the way we ate?
