@beatthediagnosis: Hi everyone, To those new to my page this one if for you. My name is Matt, I am a 37 year old family man and have two young children at home. I created this page to document my devastating cancer journey, ask for support and to help those through similar. Be it physically, mentally or wanting to know helpful advice along the way of what has worked for me and others. I have been diagnosed with brain cancer, grade 4, IDH mutant. Which for anyone not familiar is a Brain Tumour in which grows rapidly in the brain even after having had brain surgery. On paper and according to the many oncologists I have spoken with, this diagnosis is deemed incurable. That this tumour will grow back again. However I am someone who believes and has faith that not only will there be a cure one day but I have the opportunity to live a long life through my holistic routine before this even happens. I strongly feel a positive attitude and outlook has given me the strength to not only get to this stage already but to have the will to continue. I have met so many amazing people in similar positions going through their own journey and not a single one of them has let me down to how strong and courageous they are being. It’s hard to find a community for some people but I am thankful to have the support from the individuals or loved ones going through similar. You are not alone, there are charities I will tag in this video you can contact and also if you need to talk or if you have questions I am always happy to help.
