Good politicians build bridges as individuals long before they try to build something at the national level. Except when a sitting president picks and supports you to succeed him (which happened to Yar’Ardua and then Jonathan because his boss died), you cannot become president by suddenly becoming nice to everybody when you are contesting for presidency. Were you a nationalist before you showed interest in becoming the president?
