@satella0900aaaa: Regulus Corneas is the Sin Archbishop representing Greed in the Witch Cult within Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. He stands out as one of the most formidable and practically invincible antagonists in the series due to his completely broken authority. Personality and Delusions Despite possessing overwhelming destructive power, Regulus views himself as a harmless, selfless, and content individual who desires nothing more than a peaceful life. Victim Complex: He constantly accuses others of violating his "rights" over the smallest gestures, eye contact, or interruptions. Self-Righteous Monologues: Before committing acts of extreme violence, he routinely delivers lengthy lectures explaining why his actions are purely self-defense and morally justified. Harem of Wives: He forcefully collects hundreds of women to serve as his "wives," viewing them not as human beings with feelings, but purely as possessions that validate his status and serve a specific mechanical purpose for his power. Authority of Greed His authority manifests through two main mechanics that make him nearly unstoppable in direct combat: Stillness of an Object's Time (Mutlak Savunma ve Saldırı): Regulus can freeze the physical status and time of his own body or any non-living matter he touches. Objects under this effect become detached from the laws of physics, ignoring gravity, friction, external forces, magic, and physical durability. Throwing a handful of dirt or blowing a breath of air under this status cuts through solid matter, mountains, and barrier spells effortless like paper. Little King (Aslan Yüreği): Freezing his own body's time stops his heart, which would normally kill him within seconds. To bypass this, he merges his heart with his wives' hearts. As long as at least one wife carrying his heart is nearby and alive, Regulus remains entirely invincible, immune to all physical and magical damage, and experiences no physical fatigue. Downfall in Pristella (Arc 5) During the Siege of Watergate City Pristella, his weakness was uncovered and exploited through joint teamwork: Subaru's Deduction: Natsuki Subaru analyzed Regulus's inability to show physical stress and identified that his heart was placed inside his wives. Neutralizing the Harem: Emilia safely protected and isolated the wives, severing the connection between Regulus and his external hearts. Final Defeat: Forced to take his heart back into his own chest, Regulus suffered cardiac strain from overusing his ability, lost his invincibility, and was ultimately defeated by Reinhard van Astrea. #subaru #todd #regulus #shaula #rezero
