I don't wanna shit on ur happiness my friend but from experience, the friends u make when u have a bad relationship with ur family and ur home life is still toxic ie u are a vulnerable person, aren't always the best. pls do not glorify ur friends or hyperromanticize these people just because u feel like u finally have a safe place, I've been there and the grief when they turned on me was a whole other trauma. don't give them any power over u or ur decisions and consciously make sure ur not falling into people pleasing tendencies, people like us are starving for a sense of belonging and u can't see things clearly when somebody is finally giving you a plate.
