i rarely mention or care about her personal life in some aspects but FANS wishing for taylor to be cheated on or get a divorce to write sad songs again or because they miss a past relationship they know really nothing about besides how she spent years writing about how scared she was that he’d leave or feeling like she was sick and dy1ng but i’m supposed to believe the criticisms are only bc of “bad songs” and it’s really not that deep. how can you even “miss the old taylor” if you hated her then too? THAT BEING SAID! i’m just using this video as a opportunity to talk about the opinions on TLOS i’ve been seeing for over a year now. i’m not trying to imply nor suggest the song or the MV is autobiographical or about one single person specifically (i mean, it’s clearly a thriller). i think the emotions portrayed in the dialogue are ones she’s been writing about since ever, and the line about dakota’s character humiliating him immediately reminded me of “your integrity makes me seem small” and from that on i just decided to make the edit. if you liked the music video i’d suggest the novel “rebecca” by Daphne du Maurier!! it is the story taylor mentioned as a inspiration for the MV! 🧡 edit: DAMN ME FOR FORGETTING “the idea you had of me, who was she?” when she asks “different from who?”…. just pretend i added it #taylorswift #taylorsversion #taylornation #fyp
