If your cat scratches at the door all night, this was one of the easiest fixes we’ve found. 🐱 I used a thin bath mat (if your floor is all carpet you can skip this step) and a carpet protector from Amazon, cut it to fit the door, and the whole project cost about $40. It makes the door way less satisfying to scratch and has saved us from a lot of middle of the night wake up calls.
