I genuinely feel sorry for the character played by Song Kang. Ever since his teenage years, he has been compared to others and put in upsetting situations. Now, as an adult, he takes the blame upon himself, even though his mother is the one at fault. Yet he is the one who receives all the hate and negativity. The fact that no one is talking about how Jeongyo must have felt when he was shot, when he got amnesia, and especially when he eventually got his memories back and found out that Pio accepted that award knowing his friend was missing. And then he kept appearing on stage for the later shows while Jeongyo still hadn’t been found. Imagine how Jeongyo must have felt watching his own friend on stage instead of looking for the people who kidnapped him and did all those horrible things to him. And on top of that, hearing Pio say, “We weren’t even that close…”even though we know that wasn’t truly what he felt. Like, imagine Jeongyo hearing that after everything. 😭💔
