@speech.mama: 1 in 31 children are autistic. My son is that 1. 💙 Behind every milestone, there are countless hours of advocating, learning, researching, teaching, and showing up every single day. I support my #1 by creating routines, celebrating every victory, accommodating his needs, encouraging his strengths, and helping him communicate in ways that work for him. One tool that’s been part of our journey is @speechblubs , which gives him extra opportunities to practice speech and communication at home while building confidence in expressing himself to the world around him. Autism isn’t something to “fix”—it’s a different way of experiencing the world. My job is to support, encourage, and empower my son to thrive as exactly who he is.
