The thing for me is that we only ser edited and highly curated pics of colour drenched rooms, they do not look like that irl. The pics are gorgeous, just not realistic

I always heard for the ceiling that they recommend two shades lighter if you are painting the ceiling, but your examples look really good. Do also do different finishes when you do the wall vs ceiling with color drenching. Like do you still do the wall satin, but the trim gloss if you are doing all one same color?

THANK YOU. I work in a paint store and I've been screaming this from the rooftops. It's so much more interesting to do this than just to drench the whole room in one color, especially since because of sheen differences it's not likely to look exactly the same anyways.

Color drenching works in homes that have actual architectural details, it’s less effective in standard build homes.
