My theory is that we’re only going to get Elder Dragons from Generations 1–4. Since the map is called the Eastlands, it wouldn’t make much sense for Elder Dragons from the West (Monster Hunter: World) to not show up. So, I think we’ll most likely see Elder Dragons from the Old World, such as Chameleos, Yama Tsukami, Lunastra, and Shagaru Magala.

I think that the secret final boss of this game is going to be some sort of nakarcos. it's a mutated variant that instead of using its mucus to immobilize it acts like a cordyceps fungus and mutates the monsters exposed to it. it uses the corpses of the mutated monsters to either bring back his food or to go out and kill other monsters to bring to it as food. plus we already have a precedent for the cephaloid monsters in this world with Nu Udra and Zuwu

I highly doubt it, but Oltura from Stories 2 would be cool to be in mainstream, I get his moves and all would be confusing to make in a normal MH game, but the logo for Wilds and Ascendance have a dragon going up (Gundoraja) and one going down, if you know Oltura, it started as snake things coming out of the ground (which would be below) than later evolved into what we would fight, having wings and such would was its ascension in a way, I highly doubt he would be in mainstream due to his moves plus the stories series in general being completely different, but it would be cool.

That black goopy thing made me think of the infected chozo of metroid dread, its a virus, it has to relate to gore and shagaru, or a new threat. But i dont see why they include gore with plot relevance without giving it plot relevance. You know?
