Staying in the same bed as you when there was another bed he could go to is emotional abuse and power based control!! Do you think if the roles were reversed he would have insisted you leave the bedroom?!? Where was his family when he did this … were they holding him accountable at all??

Agree with everything. As hard as it was that he left and moved out eventually , the time when he was in the house was so shit. I’m just remembering back to that time and it’s not great memories! He moved out I think when our son was 6 weeks. I also had him at the birth and to be honest I would’ve felt more supported having my mum or my best friend. I don’t regret it for my son’s sake but it didn’t help me whatsoever having him there.

I had two years with my ex husband when I finally got the courage to say something. 2019. I have a glass of soya milk in my hand sitting on the couch and I say “In the New Year we are getting divorced” and walked out of the room. Then Covid happen. 😂😂. Took two years to sell the house and to be free. We had been in separate rooms for ages already.

I always find the fact he was just like “so, shall we get this house sold then?” Just after you’ve given birth 😅😅 the level of complete disregard to you and his very young children is WILD. Was there any point where he seemed to realise what a massive pri*k he was being and apologise for being so desperate to start his single free life? Or does he still think he did nothing wrong in that situation?
