separate their cribs again and add crib tent! it works so well, my toddler started climbing out of her crib ordered on amazon the same night she ended up in my room in the middle of the night 😬 with that being in her crib she doesn't even try to get out anymore because it's her "castle bed" 🥰

Get a large play pen!! You can make the whole thing a bed for both of them! My son has been in this since 10 month old and it is such a blessing!!!’

Just transition to a bed - we did a low profile full so we could cuddle with them in bed. Babyproof the room: locks on all cabinet and drawers, remove any cords or use cord protectors and outlet covers, remove the lowest shelf on the bookcase if you have one so they don't scale it like a ladder. 😂It's dangerous to keep them in a crib if they're trying to climb out, I've seen some serious head injuries from toddlers falling out of cribs. It's also recommended to keep them contained in their room in the event of an emergency until they're able to self rescue. We just use a doorknob cover and my almost 5 year old still can't open one (though we took hers off her door cause she knows how to self rescue on the event of an emergency).

Try naps in a floor situation first maybe and see how they do waking up with free range? One of my twins naps in her crib but the other will only nap

We put our daughter into a floor bed when she turned 1 and her room is pitch black so she never crawls out of her bed because she’s can’t see where she’s going and we keep her room pretty empty except for books and her dresser and some stuffies.

We put my 1st girl in a floor bed around 15ish months and just got sheets in characters she enjoys. The floor beds have gates it’s just like a crib just on the floor and now my baby is 2.5 and has loved her bed the whole time probably a full size if You want to continue to have them sleep together

Will they try to crawl out with a sleep sack on? This is the main reason we still use the sleep sacks on our twins (18 months) to help prevent this too!

We switched ours to a toddler bed at 12 months. I. My opinion it’s easier to switch younger, because we switch just as she was walking, it ment she never learnt she can get out of bed in the middle of the night, now at 18 months she will get up grab a toy or a book and get back into bed to play or read quietly, she can also get up on a morning and play while I get sorted. It’s really scary doing the switch but once it’s done there is no worries. A couple of things we did is we didn’t make a huge deal about it, we set her bed up, let her come in have a little play show her how to get in and out on own, then came out of room done tea and bath, then done bed time as normal

I have a double floor bed, its frame is shaped like a house, I added baby gates to the 4 sides of the bed that are much taller than a cot. It’s essentially a giant cot with no legs.
