Granby native here - We had five bears in our yard in a single day this past summer. A mom with two cubs, and two other adult bears (different color faces). It’s ridiculous how many bears are around here 🐻

Why ask people’s opinions without talking about the black bear’s ecosystem functions and how those functions make our state safer for humans? Because you want people to argue in your comment sections for engagement. Try using your platform to educate because without that education people will inevitably choose to wipe out bear populations. “Animal advocates” are usually scientists that you refuse to platform but you will platform property owners and their feelings. This type of environmental media coverage is harmful
