raw power is not always the most important thing. z1 extreme already had plenty of power, the focus of the z2e was efficiency while maintaining the power levels. what Intel is doing with g3e is not balance.... they are severely bottlenecking the CPU and chugging the GPU at max power with no care for efficiency at all. g3e is great for benchmarks but z2e is great for gaming

I seen the z2e get 25-30 more fps on AAA games than the Z1e.

I feel like the goal with the z2e wasn’t the raw power output. It’s straight up a z1e without its main weakness (efficiency) a chip twice as efficient with a battery double the size making most games like 2-4 times longer

You do get drastically higher framerates on the Z2E than the Z1E on FF7 Rebirth or Stalker 2 for example. Stalker 2 on medium settings get roughly 40 now instead of 25-30 and FF7 rebirth which couldn’t even break 30 on Z1 is at 40ish now

You only see a big difference with the z2e at full wattage which is 35 but that will eat up battery so fast

Z2E is great on both the Ally X and Go 2 but my god do we need cooling and battery upgrades to catch up

The z2e does a good amount more than the z1e around 30 fps extra, I got my ally x z2e for 600 bucks tho I woulda never payed 1000$. The z1e are great prices nowadays, definitely isn’t worth 1000$ for a z2e
