it’s not about judgement but i’d think the one going to the masjid would be more receptive to sincere advice - but it all goes back to individual context eg how long they’ve been going to the mosque, how they generally react to advice etc. sometimes advice can do more harm than good

I think its because it ignites the shame, hypocrisy and nuance of character that we confront in ourselves. That feels super uncomfortable so easier to point the finger and confusion at someone elsw
