it was never about cost of disc. it about the fact games are becoming to large to put on disc, Rockstar was at 2 disc with a PS4 and Xbox One game. GTA 6 would of needed 4 or 5 disc probably. it would be to ridiculous when it makes more sense to just provide a code from retailers or use PS and Xbox store so the game can just be updated without needing several disc for a single game.

games only release now with the license on the disc, the game isn't actually there, it's a key, so printing a disc, with a case, sort of what happened with booklets, it's too expensive to make, should they maybe do a limited special edition run with a physical copy? yeah but those would be paid up front and made to order, now for the music being on a disc, it's a bit easier to do, and quite cheap since it doesn't have to be a blueray disc

Here's the funny part, none of their songs r even theirs It's somebody else's so if you wanted to listen to it in order , just pick those songs out on spotify and then listen to that and call it your gta6 album for free

Dude, the reason why they're able to release that stuff on vinyl? Because it doesn't take up as much space as GT a 6. When it comes out, yes, technically, they could put two discs or whatever.But I don't really see games that do that anymore.I mean, how many games are really on more than one disk

put this in perspective for the fan boys, you have a collector's edtion at $400 for a bunch of nick nacks that probably ain't even worth $150 tops and that doesnt even include the game, you buy the expensive edtion of the vinyl for another &120, you certainly going to buy the biggest edtion of GTA VI that has a bunch of cut content that they are selling back to you for $100, now for only console you might say that's it and you're pushing ~$750 before they really start nickle and dimeing you in game. a bunch of physical items for a digital game. and then you have the PC players that are too impatient for the PC release,... you're going to buy the delux game again, or even buy a console, if you dont have one already? you're pushing $1k now for it, really?
