I think there’s another layer to this. Yes, love is a choice…….but you can’t meet someone halfway if they haven’t learned how to meet themselves there……You can love someone deeply, see all of them, and still discover they don’t yet have the capacity to hold what you’re giving them. Your love will keep falling through their hands, and if you keep pouring harder trying to fill what only they can heal, eventually your own cup becomes empty……Maybe the second love isn’t simply choosing to stay after you see everything. Maybe it’s two whole people seeing each other clearly…the wounds, shadows, imperfections and all….and both choosing to show up, take responsibility for themselves, and meet in the middle……Love can hold space for healing. It cannot do someone else’s healing for them. ❤️…..thank you for sharing in vulnerability 🙏❤️I appreciate you….🙏

Maybe the real question isn’t “would you choose them twice?”it’s “would they choose you twice?” Because it’s easy to romanticise staying, but nobody talks about how lonely it feels when you’re the only one fighting for the relationship. Yes! Love is a choice. A lot of people think it just happens. You have to set a great foundation a d communicate very well from the beginning and build that trust. of course its not always going to great. That's when you made the choice and no matter what you work through it.
