@chronologee: When most people think of Titanic, Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” is probably the first song that comes to mind. But one of the film’s most haunting vocal performances came from someone else. Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø provided the wordless vocals heard throughout James Horner’s score. With no lyrics to explain what the characters were feeling, her voice became part of the emotion itself, rising and falling alongside some of the film’s most powerful scenes. Her ethereal vocals helped give Titanic its distinctive musical atmosphere and became an important part of the film’s emotional identity — without her ever singing a single word on the soundtrack. #titanicmovie #celinedion #jameshorner #soundtrack #nolyrics
