this was entirely relatable - I had these thoughts as a kid too and have definitely brought it up with my therapist. (sidenote: I stopped to listen when I saw an Alma sweatshirt but glad I stayed!)

think some of this is bc dealing with kids with autism is hard on adults & the kids pick up on those negative feelings around their existence

No cause same Although for me I blame the religious trauma that is worshipping if martyrdom in saying in a school shooting for Jesus because that was a whole thing for a while. Thanks mom!
