@dishesandbeats: One Pot Creamy Tomato Prawn Pasta This one was special…🤤 Song: Luther Vandross - Never Too Much Ingredients 400 grams pasta 250 grams prawns 1 tbsp oil 0.5 tsp salt 1.5 tsp black pepper 1.5 tsp garlic powder 1.5 tsp onion powder 1.5 tsp paprika 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp thyme 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 large onion 3-5 cloves garlic 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 tin (400g) chopped tomatoes 500 ml chicken stock (1 tbsp powder with water) 200 ml double cream 200ml ml water Parmesan (as much as you like) Parsley Recipe 1. Add the prawns to a bowl and add oil 2. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika (1/2 tsp of each). Add some lemon juice, mix and leave to marinate. 3. Prepare the vegetables by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic 4. Heat up a pan and add some oil 5. Once heated, add in the prawns and let cook for around 2 mins on each side then remove and set aside 6. In the same pan introduce the onions followed by the garlic 7. After 2 minutes, add the tomato paste and combine well for a minute or so before adding in the chopped tomatoes 8. Stir then pour in the chicken stock 9. Add in the double cream, stir and season with pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano and thyme (1 tsp of each) 10. Optionally add some chilli flakes for spice 11. Add the pasta to the pot and stir 12. Pour in 3/4 of the water and bring to a light boil 13. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid and allow to cook for around 10 minutes, occasionally adding the rest of the water so it doesn’t dry out and stirring every couple minutes so it doesn’t stick 14. Once almost ready, reintroduce the prawns add some Parmesan cheese to the sauce and mix well. 15. Stir in some chopped parsley 16. Serve, top with more parmesan and parsley 17.
