I'm an old white lady & this hurts me to think this a thought never mind stated as fact. I'm not dismissing all the facts of our ugly history & the wrongs & sins perpertraited against you. Alot u cited as what white folk have done this rich white men over all as my generation their victims too nx working & poor white folk also have racists but their are millions of us that love enjoy & are greatful to our African American folks in our life. I find your people that are multi generational citizens don't necessarily feel this big seperation. I find people from the Islands and/or Africa neeer here have issue of racism even between these different origins. I have no answers & have the best example of awful white people in rich wh male President & every white person I know miss Obama & welcome anyone any color then Finally 2 things 1st American slaves many owned BUT less than 2% of white people owned slaves it was rich white families w/hugh plantations & it was a white President & white folks that fought in Civil War. Winning that war didn't solve problem but it had to start somewhere 2nd during that sametime in American history white people coming to America where indentured servants this was rich white families getting the Irish,French, British etc here then these people owned they now owed these families for fare here & food & board they could rarely get free & their living conditions like black slaves,fed the same trash,beaten, raped & these immigrants thought as dumb,dirty, disgusting people. things u said not wrong & your opinions i dont challenge its my opinion too pat as not universal of white peoples feelings, i think it keeps us divided building bridges takes the position of what connects us. My life has been full of black lovers, family members, bff's, roommates, co-workers & places i wanna eat! I'm 70 right now my contact list 3 young black men that i see weekly they my friends & treat me better then my sons we fight as i try to pay them 4 all they do, call me ma & in my will. My bff African nurse I wkd w/4yrs I'm not unique blacks & whites our families & generation's deep finally skin colors eventually so mixed can't separate us I pray ☮️
