my wife and I used to have that problem, we even got in a couple of "fights" because she'd explain something, we'd talk through it, then after I built it it was completely wrong. turns out she has aphantasia and can't visualize anything. I could map out every stud in my home in my brain. I started making her do the drawing and having start from her perspective solved everything.

my hubby used to built houses, install windows, build trusses, ect. I am a figure it out till it works, and nothing a little youtube cant teach me. i built my coop. it drives him nuts it isnt even close to straight 🤣 there is a brooder built into the coop too❤️

YES, GIRL! my issue is that my husband keeps trying to build things like this "bigger and better" when I'm actually trying to do something smaller and more accurate 😆 so he makes a new one and I'm like... "that's the opposite of my goal. you saw that part as a bug and I was building it in as an intentional feature." and I love him, he's really great at what he does! but his job is "bigger and better" so it's hard for him to figure out my niche needs.

Would a mineral tub cut in half, and some hog panel / fence wrapped around the cut side work? That’s what else did and just tied them to a t post.
