You should use a diffuser and blow your hair upside down. When you have curly hair you typically don’t brush through the curls. Use a pic or wide comb, product, diffuse and you will get lovely curls

have you tried using a curl cream and scrunching a bit before air drying? I thought your permed hair would behave similarly to naturally wavy hair

Don’t need to do all that: wash, rough dry, apply hair oil to ends, toss up in a top know w a clip. When hair is dry or you’re ready to be out, remove the clip

I have natural hair that is very similar to your finished hair. I use Lush Super Milk to comb it out (a little goes a long way) and then I use the Lush Curl Power cream to set my curls (prayer hands to get product in hair and then a light scrunch) I can air dry and then scrunch one last time when it’s dry to break the cast, or blow dry with a diffuser on. When I air dry it’s maybe a 2-3 minute process tops.
