So, totally would bring this up in therapy.. maybe find someone who specializes in OCD. Totally get health anxiety, but OCD latches onto trauma.. and hey, could be the taking care of dad.. but the more you share the more it feels like something else.. and I love when providers listen and try to put patients at ease.. but sometimes if it’s a compulsion the validation doesn’t always do well…

stop it this is how i’ve been since my mom died of cancer just over two years ago and my FYP it pops up constantly and i have to delete the app, i just can’t even function half the time

I go through this constantly and my therapist last week was like okay so why are we spiraling (my grandma was told her thyroid they removed was riddled with cancer and she has a scan in November to see if it spread.) and there’s like 9-10 types of cancer that runs in my family so I’m just like what is it that’s gonna get me and when lol

I have 3 terminal illnesses and don’t worry I STILL think I have more and give myself more anxiety than I need and convince myself that there’s so much more wrong with me than there is😭😂 if I don’t laugh I’ll cry and panic

I understand you Suzie, there's this really scary lump that hurts in one of mine that's been there for months and it's so terrifying and the soonest I could get into the doctor is march it hasn’t changed at all and I have nothing else going on so I doubt it but omg it’s terrifying

It's like I want to help everyone and repost but then my fyp only shows me people who have cancer or even better those " my husband,wife,spouse died of xyz so make sure you go get abcdefg checked asap" and then you have anxiety for the rest of time about whatever it was 😫😭. Ugh I want to stay and help or be informed but it also scares the CRAP out of me!!
